Hi, i have created a tutorial video (flash animation) in SwishMax to show new users how to use my site. I took several screenshots of my site and then used the "move" effect on these images (so it looks like someone is moving through the site) to show users how to navigate through my site. However when it approaches 2 minutes in the clip, everything starts getting very slow and it looks like the frames seem to slow down to 4 frames a second. I then copied the files to my laptop (which is not as powerful as my PC) and the video started to get slow around 1:30 seconds. I didn't think a video of this size would be so demanding. Can anyone help me here please as i am quite new to SwishMax. I was thinking of splitting the movie up into two seperate files and then converting the flash to mpeg and then putting the two mpegs together but surely there is some tweak or other way around this, thanks for your help and any replies will be greatly appreciated, thanks again
I would recommend just taking the FLV file and using Dreamweavers default Flash players. The run FLV files just great with no lag.
this happened to me in the past - and i managed to fix it it happens cos you have too much stuff in your workspace. all you have to do is when there is an image on top of another image, you have to "remove" the pics that are hidden behind i hope this helps
thanks, that fixed it, i simply added the remove effect to every image or shape that was not being used anymore, thanks
