Hi guys, I really have no idea why this site www.csl-computer.com is ranked so good for the highly competitive keywords "computer shop" and "pc shop" on google.de (Germany!). Any ideas would be really helpful. Thanks
They seem to be well syndicated on ebay.de and shopzilla.de which could have something to do with it.
Could have lots of links with anchor text that includes those keywords. Sometimes google does weird things so who knows.
Well, I have already checked some of their backlinks (they only have about 100 inbound links) and most of them are not with those keywords in the anchor text. (Do you know a good backlink checker with anchor text display, which WORKS?) The words "computer", "shop" and "pc" are english words but they are also very common in Germany, they are already an integral component of the German language. Thus, this cannot be the reason. Additionaly, the site below csl, (pc king) does also have only a few links more than csl. Well, lets see and wait what others have to say to this. Thanks to your comments.
I will check backlinks with seo elite, and I will only have it include unique links (1 link per site, a site-wide link is only 1 link with this option on). I will post the picture once I finish.
well, i have checked already about 20-30 links and most of them do not contain the keyword in the linktext. Why did u have a complete different result?
Counting around 1400 backlinks, loads of authority sites linking to them, including several university pages. Loads of deeplinks...and many links with your keywords. No idea where you are getting your data from, but they did their job well !
