Why is this site PR6?

I came across this site today. ]downloadrings.com[ It's obviously a doorway page.

It shows up with a PR6 ranking in my google toolbar. I checked the backlinks in google and it shows up as 0 (links). http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=link%3Adownloadrings.com&btnG=Search

Any idea on how this was done?

because, it's a glitch.

 

PR is easy to fake - even though that doesnt help in SERP. But in this case it shows PR1 on my toolbar as well. Doesn't look like a fake PR.

 

u have surely some problem with ur tool bar.....
i cant see PR 6 for that site....
just check it out one more time...
