Why is this site number one?

    When I search for "xocai" this site is number one:
    http://www.healthychocolateworld.co.uk/

    Can anyone do some reverse SEO and let me know what we need to do to get our site higher in the rankings for that keyword?

    Okay well this is how you can test using seo tactics.

    1) Create a blog on your site.
    2) Call the blog entry the keyword you taked about.
    3) Ensure that you write a whole article like the website has on its homepage but ensure it's different, has good grammer and no spelling mistakes.
    4) Ensure that the title contains the keyword and that the headers tags and the content all contain the keyword.
    4) Ensure that the description and mata keyword tags also contain the keyword. Remember don;t stuff loads of keywords in to this as it only makes it harder for the engine to figure out what the page is about.

    Okay now let the engines index this page and see what happens. Use the mozilla goog rank checker or another tool to watch that page performance.

    The problem my friend you have a duplicated site you cannot optimize period if you do not have open access to change anything you want on pages.

    Suggestion create a site from scratch and target your keywords there then drive traffic to your dup site, by first optimizing a newly built site from scratch.

    he is using linksmaster.com to gain 1100 payed links, that's why he's number one.
    but you should not do it to rank number one, sooner or later google will find out and sandbox\ban him.

    I'm not sure about evilox saving it's due to that site. It could be he is advertising that site.

    Is it purely because this site has a lot of backlinks they are number one?

    Well, almost certainly. Links are what Google goes by top decide which site ranks at what position. But it is not just the number but the number of quality links that matter.

    Yes the site is number one and yes many people can give there reasons as to why they are number one. The key factor is how to compete with this site and also get on the first page.

    This should be done as naturally as possible and try not to use any paid services. I've seen sites with 2-3 backlinks and no PR make number one so don;t worry on matching the volume on backlinks, just try to get relelvent quality backlinks with plenty of relevence.
