Rules Why is this not a dupe thread?

    Greets:

I'm not singling this poster out but I've reported these types of threads a couple of times and it appears not to be getting a response. I've pm'ed a couple of mods as well asking about it but not received a response either. I've even asked when reported these threads.

To me, these are duped threads:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1503839

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1470547

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1482881

It's the same sale, same coupon, same coupon codes, etc.

Please help me understand why this is allowed when:

Not trying to be an ass. Just trying to understand. Since I can't get a response when I PM, I have to go this route.

    Thanks,
    -drmike

Yes that is against the rules and when you see them you should report it.

The previous thread has to be closed before they start another one.

I have and this is one of the folks I have reported. That's why I'm asking. (I believe I've stated that I have reported folks like this. Sorry if you missed that point.)

Again, not trying to be an ass here. Just wondering why these types of reports seem to not being acted on.

We have to handle so many reported threads so sometimes it takes little bit more time then normal time so don't worry about that. Just report it and we'll do our best for the rest.

BTW we have to lookinto the matter properly before act. So definately it needs some time.

Even if previous thread is closed, you may not start a duplicate thread. Do not ask to have thread closed just to start same thread again and have it at start of the category.
