Why Is The WordPress Date Showing Up Before Meta Description In Search Results?

Why does this happen? I doubt it's G "experimenting". I see it happening to other blogs. I'm running the All-In-One SEO plugin. Could this be the culprit?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm aware. The point of this thread is to if anyone knows how to clear the date from the search results.

 

The date comes from your post date on the article.
You can remove the date by editing your theme, or...

Use javascript to obfuscate it.

document.write maybe ; or encode it and write it... lots of options.

 

I don't want to remove the date from my posts, I just don't want it in my meta info.

 

You know WHY that doesn't matter at all ?
Because now, almost 2 years later, I find the answer in google search results, pointing to this very thread.
Sites are like wine, it's better when it's aged
