Just wait till all the reports are de-classified over the next 10 years... It's gonna give that poor kid a heart attack...

Of course at that point in time, the democrats will get someone back in the White House and they will gladly take credit for it.

    I'll tell you why.

    Two buildings.

    Four airplanes.

    One Pentagon.

We were right to hit 'em. And this fuck was the right person for it.

We did one thing wrong. We stayed.

America, right now, is denying itself, strategically, the fruits of its experience.

We are strong. We are so very strong. And our might, technology, and wealth created the fastest most powerful military in history.

We started out in Iraq by proving that. Since then, by fighting their war, and once again with hand-cuffs on, we have stripped ourselves of our true strengths - speed and deadly power.

We should have hit them and hit them so hard their ears would still be bleeding (instead of getting decapitated by their neighbors). Then, just like that, we should have left. Left them to themselves, just like what we ourselves wanted - before 9/11.

What's wrong with letting the world know we are a little crazy? A little unpredictable. Don't fuck with us.

Who cares if a bunch of beret cladded moutachios in Paris like us or not? With their little easels in their hands. Fuck them.

We should have left the entire Arab world with one primary consideration: don't mess with our sky-lines. And the next time you do, we'll be back.

The score should have been, essentially - two buildings - two countries.
    and left at that.

    But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

See, it is the Arabs who call themselves 'The Nation of Islam,' not us. They are the ones who told us they have no borders, or love for us.

We hit the Nation of Islam. And that's just the damn truth. We raised the stakes for those countries who were considering funding terrorism against us. That was the plan, and that's exactly what went on for about two months, or more truly, right up until the time Bush flew into that ship and announced the end of hostilities.

End of hostilities??? Have any of you seen what they are actually doing to their neighbors and to us?

Bush was right to hit them. He is wrong to stay.

Use our military might and technology where it is best - speed, strength and surprise. Let every time they hear a jet overhead - let them remember who came to visit. Make sure their leaders of these governments who actually fund these looney birds warn them not to cause any kind'a trouble. Afterall, they're always the first to go.

It's interesting how Yo-Yo selectively picked one bit out of the Wikipedia article about Sarin that he thinks supports his point. He must have failed to scroll down to the CIA report about the use of the binary form of sarin that I mentioned.

BTW, Will Spencer has a really interesting post about finding a good place on the planet to live. If you hate your country so much, perhaps you should probably read it.

Also, mustard gas is the original weapon of mass destruction. How could anyone even think that it is not a WMD? My grandfather's brother was in World War I and was exposed to "just a wiff mustard gas". He had a 75% disability for the rest of his life and died in 1943 from a lung ailment related to the damage it created.

But you do recongnize saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 right, you are just saying we needed to hit "somebody" right?

Guys those old degreaded shells are nothing, and sarin is so easy to make nut job cult in japan made it, hell any of us could probably make it. WE are supposed to be invading for stuff like VX, and biological agents, of course none of that was found

You're the only one left on the planet attempting to insinuate he did. Give it a rest. Bush, nor his administration, nor I or anyone on the right ever made such a claim.
    Give it a rest already.

Yeah! It was the media's fault!

All Bush and Cheney did was mention 'Saddam' and '9-11' 100 times each in every speech, interview and press conference leading up to the Iraq war.

    Stupid media.....stupid American citizens!

Oh, I would not go so far as to say, "stupid".. Ignorant maybe. But not stupid. That's pretty harsh.

I hope you are being sarcastic.

Only an American would expect a thank you for invading and bombing the f*ck out of a country.

BTW: Today, in front of a live audience, a national press conference Bush said "We did not find stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction."

    Need I say more?:D

Any source that any of that stuff was found?

And what if he'd been shot by an AK47 5 times? Would an AK47 then be a WMD to? You can shoot indiscriminately with 100 rounds at a time

The "administration said". There's an honest source for you.

If that was the case, they'd be yelling it from the highest mountain. But today, the Pres said otherwise.

It's amazing how the verbage changes over time. I think the media is saying they call it distencing from certain terminology?

Since your first 2 links had nothing to do with what I asked, I assume the rest were the same.

BTW, from your own source there ;) :

All of the weapons were hidden after the war started.

I read through your latest long response.

Let's go back to the beginning of this thread.

A claim was made that there were no wmd found.

Two later claims were made that wmd were found (posts 7 and 12)

    I countered that.

The facts remain that the top people within the administration acknowledge that wmd were not found. Bush said it today in a press conference.

All other comments concerning what was found are horse feathers relative to being responsable about the wmd issue.

Earl - you know the whole WMD debate is pointless. It is irrelevant if they were found or not. Everyone thought they were there, Saddam probably thought they were there. Not acting for so long was irresponsible. Bush I should have taken out Saddam when he had the chance.

The idea that people seem to want to put forth is that no WMD were found, D'oh! let's slap our foreheads and go home. That's silly. We are there now, we need to win there, now. Cutting/running/going home now just emboldens the very people we are fighting. That is the nature of the conflict over there. Yammering about WMD is silly, and only really holds any relevance with people who don't care to realize the bigger situation here.

So you think, we should wipe our hands, go home and let another militant regime crop up over there? As I've said before, there were 23 whereas clauses for the invasion, 2 dealt with WMDs. The rest dealt with failure to abide by UN resolutions and Iraq's support of terrorism. WMDs are far down on the list as far as I'm concerned.

    No. I never said that.

I would just like to see some new leadership at the top! ie: Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush.

Staying the F'n course just ins't working.

Whether you think they lied or not, things have gone terribly wrong and it's time people were held accountable for their mistakes.

Unfortunately, the people who could actually do something, CONGRESS, are too busy worrying about the election. --Not that they would do anything anyway!

And that's true. We didn't find huge stockpiles, all nicely arranged and sorted for inspections.

But we did find WMD. The huge stockpiles are in Syria.
