    When you have a website that targets webmasters and the directory you are submitting to has an Alexa traffic rating under 20,000. Since Alexa is heavily skewed by webmasters, that shows that Alive Directory gets a lot of webmaster traffic.

    I can also think of several niche directories I buy links in for traffic, but those are niche... *shrug*

    He bought links for his site really simple. And he owns loads of high PR sites you stick your new site on some of your older sites. And bam like pr7 with a little link building.
