    Hey guys, the 'site title" these words "Affordable Computer Repair Services NYC" is showing in the title of every page, I am not understanding why, help please? I only want those words to show on the HOME page title but no matter what I type for each other page those words are included at the end, if you can view the page source any of my pages here and especially each of my Services pages you will see what I mean:

    I am guessing you are using Wordpress. If you go to General Settings, your site title is displayed there. This is what will show on all pages.

    Yes, i think this is universal in all WP sites, looking at this site:

    http://www.nytco.com/

    every page has this "The New York Times Company" at the end:

    <title>The New York Times Company | The New York Times Company</title>

    How can I insert that separator which separates the keyword and the name of the company please?

    You could try inserting the separator in the title on the General Settings page. So you could write:

    | Affordable Computer Repair Services NYC

    or

    ~ Affordable Computer Repair Services NYC

    If you don't have the | on your keyboard (usually next to the left shift, on the same key as backward slash), you can use html code: &#124;

    Ok thanks! I am being told this problem of site title on all pages is native to ALL wp themes and only way to turn off the same site titles on every page is to use custom css code?

    Yes. This is something built into Wordpress. If you don't want a title showing you can keep the title box blank, but it's best not to do that for SEO reasons. You could use custom css code. I don't see any reason why you couldn't, but any changes you make to your theme will be overwritten if there are updates to the theme in the future.

    I just found out right now I am seeing the same Site Title words on every page, I want to create my own titles for all pages aside from the Home page, I am being told I will need to edit the Homepage code under the Titles & Metas

    Can anyone tell me just how I can edit that code to get what I want please?
