Why is the new Wordpress's Admin area so dull?

Why is the new Wordpress's Admin area so dull?

It seems to have no style at all. Am I missing something?

 

There's a plugin you can download that will allow you to change the admin area. Just go search for it in the plugin directory.

 

The interface is also not as user friendly as it used to be. Could be because I have got so used to earlier ones. Although the newer one has some additional features.

 

Way better than the old one, and I like the admin area. Clean and bright.

 

I like the new skin , new skin is well designed and has more visual things as compared to the old one .
In the new skin all the things are properly categorized and I like that thing!

 

I dont mind how an admin area looks, as long as i can find my way around it easily.

 

I don't feel it's dull, but took me time to get familiar with it. Now it's cool and easy to use as well!

 

It took some getting used to since they practically jammed most of the options in several categories but I find the new one easier to navigate. Back in the "olden" days, I got dizzy looking for certain options. But then again that might be attributed to the fact that I was a complete noob back then.

I have to say though, the dashboard is way too bright for my poor eyes.

 

Every try Fluency Admin Panel? It is an alternate WP admin theme.
