Using this argument, I can say why did God send the Prophet Muhammed to convert all to Muslims, using his superb powers, "Be!" and that's it, all will be Muslims. He certainly won't need to convey his wills through anyone else.

Because then there wouldn't be free will. It is our responsability if we want to recognize God, not his.

Why do you think you can put limits on what God can do?

I guess you view yourself more powerful than God then....

Not sure why I'm getting involved here, BUT Cryspatus is talking about scriptures:

"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard." (Leviticus 19:27)

"But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:10)

"They (shellfish) shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination." (Leviticus 11:11)

"Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales; that shall be an abomination to you." (Leviticus 11:12)

God must be sick to send his own son to get crucified. He could delete all sins with single word. Or else he isn't all powerful. Another silly concept of christianity.

If you open your mind and examine the christianity (substitute with any other religion) carefully... you come to a conclusion that's it's all lies.

People were always afraid of death. Believing all these fairytales gives them "a chance" that something comes after death. People desire to live eternally.

But what for? What is the meaning of the eternal life? You would get bored sooner or later. Just imagine eternity. It's a bull****.

You are the one putting limits on him by saying he needs to crucify someone to get rid of sins. He dosen't need to do that.

The bible is a big book of BS, simple as that. I was born into a Christian family, but I was able to see past the religious crap.

Either you believe its BS or not, who cares? But you have to understand some people have faith in it, so you’ll put your grunt anger of hating the bible over respectable humanism for someone who relies on the bible? It doesn’t hurt you that you hate it, but it may hurt someone that’s dependant on it, not coming religiously, coming for the demand of human respect…anyone…?

Humanism, is something we all agree on, don’t disrespect someone because they believe in something that you don’t believe in, vice versa. Religious is something unbalanced, frightens me that some people gets the fits over it, and acting out disrespectfully. We all complain about religion, but yet we’re here stuffing our faces in it battling with each other, where is the human respect? No wonder religion is the reason humans are so far back. Everyone’s first religion should be humanism, then w/e after, get it?

Understand what’s proven, don’t let unknown entities get you wild-n-out. We are the only thing thus proven, lets advance ourselves until these entities starts to show, you are acting as a promotional puppet if you do not put what’s proven (factuality, presence), over something that isn’t proven yet, unknown entities. The first religion that provides me with something, then I’ll believe in it. The first religion that’s going to do me good, I’ll happily believe in it.

IMHO it sure takes more faith to believe that everything started with a big bang coming from nowhere lol. Nope i rather believe that someone is behind it all, as that would make more sence.

Sure, but why believe in anything? You could live you life everyday without AND believe though not causing confusing, here’s what I’m saying, go out, party, live your lifestyle, IGNORE religion, your lifestyle should maintain your religion, so you wouldn’t have a purpose other than to cause confusion if you bring up religion. Come home, and praise God if that’s who you praise, praise Buddha if that’s who you praise, praise Allah if that’s who you praise, praise Satan is that’s who you praise, keep it personal, don’t force religion over humanism, simple.

Big Bang didn't come from nowhere - it came from singularity. Oh my, people talking about things they don't understand are pretty common these days.
