Why is SEO called SEO and not GO?

    Since SEO is always about Google, why not be upfront and call it GO instead of SEO?

    the question is what GO stands for ? with SEO, Google can claim search engine optimization is a "property of Google". it is useful for Google branding and not to mention chain benefit Google earn after people talk about SEO. Google says SEO is about how to get natural traffic from Google search while technically there is nothing "natural" about it. SEO runs over Google scripts

    GO is Google Optimization obviously, since it is all about google, why say Search Engine Optimization when right after SEO people are always talking about google and never about bing/yahoo and other search engines. So be honest and call it GO, not SEO :)
