And I though you were interested to know why and not just an excuse to post about how bad Muslims are because they don't eat pork.

Judaism and Islam are very similar in many aspects because Muhammad contacts with the Jews during his travels but Christianity differs in it's traditions because it is based on Persian mythology which spread to Europe at that time.

It doesn't make then bad. I know why they don't eat pork, i simply stated it is not for medical reasons that they abstain from eating pig, it's because of what their book teaches them.

I can honestly say i don't know how Jews react to pork, you say they don't eat it but does it scare them to death like i've seen in many Muslims?

How's the sauce? Is it more spicy or more sweet? Is it thinned with vinegar like a St. Louis sauce or is it thick like a Kansas City sauce?

It is strangely difficult to find good ribs in Denver. We have BBQ places all over the damned city, but for some reason sweet BBQ sauces are all the rage here now.

There was one place here that had awesome BBQ, but it closed. It never had a large customer base -- we were the only white people I ever saw in there and it was far from any concentrated population of blacks in Denver.

I don't know about all that. I guess it would be considered sweet(ish) and non-tangy.

Speaking of pork & sauce, I just picked up some of Ditka's Real Pork sauce. The stuff is great!!!!

His BBQ, Steak and hot sauces are great too! Thumbs-up, DITKA!

    http://www.islamic-world.net/sister/h1.htm

    Take a looksee.

Also we are able to eat Beef and Chicken. We (Muslims) are not allowed to eat anything that has drowned, not been slaughtered by saying a praise to God, is a carnivore (such as bears, sharks, etc. because they may have eaten something such as a Pig). Just to let you guys know.

And I see a lot of people here spamming about BBQ Ribs and Pork chops, honestly, what does that have to do with this thread? He wants to know why Pork is not permitted, not how it tastes, or what Muslims are "missing" out on.

    Thanks!
