Why is our eCommerce website's Search function so slow?

    Hey all,

We've recently released our online shopping/price comparison website http://www.seewhosells.com/ live out of beta mode, however we are having major troubles optimizing the search.

Our programmers are constantly importing new product feeds for the sake of having the most accurate cheap prices, however as you can see if you visit the site, most searches take a LONG time to process.

Are there any people out there who use similar site searches who can provide advice on how to get the searches processing quicker? Any help or feedback would be appreciated.

    Cheers

That's the web server, not the database/search engine. :)
