Why is ordered 22 and shipped 21 for many days?

    Because the order may be canceled or money from customer's credit card is not enough. You can place order with credit card does not have money. However it will not complete, but after they place order, system will record it.

    Sometimes, customer places order and it shows up on "Orders Report". However, later the customer cancels the order and the order never gets shipped

    I had this happen to me before.. took weeks for the item to be shipped..
