Why is my site's Google Page Rank now 0?

It had been at PR5 for over a year, but since the last update it's been at PR0 and my traffic has dropped by a factor of 10. Please help me figure this out. Why is my site's Google PageRank now 0?

its hard to say why your site would drop in traffic and PR. there could be LOTS of reasons behind it. your PR can drop if you lose your PR backlinks. your traffic may drop due to loss or drop of ranking, referral links being removed, etc.

I'm having trouble getting visitors to my site, so I'm thinking about trying one. Are they effective? What do you think of pop-under exchanges? What do you think of pop-under exchanges?

You can answer that question yourself. What do you think of them?

Do they annoy you? What your thoughts are is where your answer is.

are there still any such exchanges around?

some years ago it was often a good way to get new visitors.

but most of these exchanges were ripping one off not sending enough new visitors.

I must have been hanging round the wrong sort of sites... haven't seen a pop-under in a very long time... and that's fine by me ;)

I doubt anyone with a link worth having will want to be associated with a website that uses these tactics. Look for other methods of driving traffic.

Obviously you had done something that the Search Engines didn't like. So you still need hard work to make sure your pr increase. Good luck.

One thing you should address is duplicate content. Original content will go a long way. Especially with Google.

The best thing, is to find out what you've done lately, and undo the work.

After that, I would leave it alone for at least a month to see if there is any changes.

After all you'll have some time before the next page rank updates kick in

BTW, Google is usually pretty upfront about anything outside of their natural ranking calculations, especially the stuff that gets you in trouble. Set up the webmasters account and they will notify you about any mistakes you make.

It was good that your website page rank was 5 for a year but still it come down to pr 0 because i think Google did not like your work and continue your effective work and put quality content in your website, next time your website pr will definitely increase.

It also appears to be PR2 not 0. Still a pretty steep drop from a 5 though.

You don't have to submit your site in Google to crawl.
First you need to create site map from site map generator online search in Google. Upload your site map to your servers. Go to web master Google tools sign up, log in add your website, copy the code and paste it in your website Hyper text mark up language, save it. After your website gets approval your site will be crawled by Google crawler automatically. Approval wont take a lot of time, maybe 2minutes or less. You can see the status every day.
Trust me I did it in this way and Google crawled.

Another method for fastest crawling and traffic ranking is you post your comments on visiting various blogs by adding your website/blog address in comments section whole day continuing.
You can check your traffic statistics in Alexa.
My previous website got a huge traffic by doing this and my site got number of Google searches in Google search box when i type my previous website. I have discontinued my previous website and now no search results appear.
