I started the optimization process two days ago... the usual social bookmarking submission, blog posting, etc.. For the last site I developed, this got me indexed in less than 24 hours. It's now been 2 and a half days, and I'm wondering if I might be doing something wrong? I submitted to jumptags, xomreviews, simpy, facebook, twine, buzz, reddit, delcious, digg, diigo, propeller, mix, newsvine.. (to name a FEW).. Also, posted to atleast 10-20 forums and blogs with high PR. I can see that my posts are getting indexed but the site is not. What the **** is goin on? I'm starting to get a little frustrated now.
Same thing happens to me. My posts are indexed in Bing website. But my blog is no where in the Search Result. Dunno. Some help will be appreciated
dear, whatever you are doing is all offsite techniques. do some strong onsite optimization first and then go for offsite optimization, and have patience after doing such a large amount of offsite, your site will definitely get indexed.
Probably, your post have gained some good serp ranking there from your social bookmark submission. Have you submited the site to google? Install google sitemap to your blog. It will help your site get crawled for each blog post you made.
Thanks everyone for the advice. Yes. I've already submitted the site to google and sent them the xml sitemap. I made sure to do the onsite optimization before submitting to the search engines... still not sure what's going on.. trying to be patient.
Get the RSS of your page, insert into your Google reader. Static page no RSS? use Page2RSS.com. You will be indexed soon.
It seems that you are a new webmaster and you are still impatient about things. Just wait. It will come. Google has its own timetable.
use google adwords on you page and with some other little tricks you can get indexed in no time. all my sites are indexed in less than 24h sometimes in 20h or less. check out my signature and you'll find the way to my guide . good luck
Come on Guys, Its simple, sometimes google takes upto 7 days to get indexed, and one more thing is people making some mistake with robots. when search spiders came to crawl site, some might disallow index, that is happening more times. And @ Madiony, Google Adwords is Just Advertising, Not an Crawling. They Manually Review Each Ad, so there is no chance of indexing with google.
Try to create a xml sitemap for your site and submit it to google webmaster tool. It will help to index your site
