Why is my site so slow?

    Hi i was wondering if anyone knows why my site is so slow.

    Its cricket games

    And it takes like 10 seconds to load. This leading to a high bounce rate and less adsense earnings.

    Any ideas?

    Could it be because of the youtube vids i play on the site ?

    ya, it loads really fast for me here..
    is it always slow, or only slow during certain times of the day?
    Is it static-html or is in running on a CMS ?

    Aprox 70% of time is because loading 67 widget images. You should use simple text for that.

    Also you should take a look at this great page with tips to optimize your page load time. Look at the Tips to reduce your page load time paragraph.

    I was wondering whether you could offer me any advice on how to increase my adsense on this site i mentioned in my first post cricket games and this site acne. Im earning a little bit from them but not as much as i would like to.
