Probably removed. Had any downtime recently? Some editors are less patient than others when they come across a 404

Alternatively, did you change your URL and not redirect the old one to the new one?

I know this may sound offensive, I'm just trying to cover all the possibilities - perhaps your site just isn't up to standards any more?

Have you got a link to the site?

that would probably explain it - it's probably in limbo somewhere and the search engine hasn't caught up yet so is still showing it as being in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Victoria/Localities/H/Hawthorn/Business_and_Economy/ (though it isn't)

Your site has probably been added to the submission queue for the new category, which means it was taken out of the old category. It's basically as if the editor had resubmitted the site for you to the new category, though your new 'submission' ought to get reviewed faster than normal sites because sites sent to a category's submission queue from somewhere get put at the top of the list - though there's no knowing when an editor will next get to editing theis queue, or if he will take it in order (I quite like to scan through and deal with old submissions first, or try and spot submissions clearly in the wrong place and send them on their way, rather than diligently go down the list one by one)

You applied for a category move, not an update within the same category. If the editor dealing with the request agreed with you then the site will have been removed from its current location and be sent to the new category you requested. This means it will wait for re-review in the new category along with any other submissions there. Because specialist immigration categories are so prone to spam and dishonesty the site will be subjected to intense scrutiny and comprehensive verification of information before being listed there. Hence it may take a little longer.

The more times you ask the more the possibility you might get a different answer. :D

This is the second time in a couple of minutes where I'm reading a thread and thinking, "Have you mistaken DigitalPoint for DMOZ? Why are you asking this here?"...

On the other hand, I wouldn't send even my ex-wife to the Resource Zone...

bradley's and brizzie.. thanks for the input.
I know there are some editors from dmoz here, I just want to know what really happen to my site.

Allucard, ive read the reasons that you have gave me but it still not answers my question, If i ask it again to my topic there in the resource zone, editors willl just say "we no longer give site status checks "

But again, thank you guys for the info

    Translation:

There is an editor who has financial interest in that subject, if you are any treat to his business or are not in some way beneficial for the editor, forget about getting listed. ;)

There have been several editors with financial interests in this subject. Note the past tense. Removed, ejected, no more account, sorry your services are no longer required, bye bye. Investigation of this business sector leads to us to believe it is an area with a high degree of smoke and mirrors. So any sites added to such categories are very thoroughly investigated for legitimacy, every immigration agent category is swept regularly to ensure that abuse that had been detected in such categories in the past never occurs again.

Answer for the benefit of others not the troll.

Boohlick, if you're going to ask questions you're going to have to learn to take the time to read the answers.

Brizzie already answered this on the previous page of this thread:

Its just that last week my site is in the search results of dmoz, even if it was removed in its current category.

I guess they've updated their search. All you can do now is be patient and hope it gets back in. And if it does, wherever they put it, leave it there. A link is a link - who cares what page it's on, really?

BTW, the case listed in the Supreme Court in Melbourne - is that anything to do with the immigration side of the business?
