I think this is the place for this question. This has been driving me crazy the last couple of weeks. I get emails using google alerts whenever my website name is used. So every day for well over a month I've been getting these google alerts. Recipes For Italy An ever growing collection of great italian recipes. recipes. authentic italian ... Enjoy the many italian recipes chicago has to offer. this is a culinary ... Itialin Recipes Enjoy 3657 italian recipes and videos reviewed and rated by ifood.tv food italian recipes are generally simple ... (www.great-chicago-italian-recipes.com) ... It's a Google spammer. Some of the links are to sites they own, and others are to random sites, to help disguise their intent.
Does anyone know how to stop this and will it hurt my site? What is the purpose of this happening? PJS
It's difficult to stop and doesn't hurt you in any way. They are doing it because they want to hide their own spam links in a fog of "legitimate" links.
