Why is my site not #1?

My site is (www) dot pcenclosures-direct (dot) com and I am trying to get #1 spot for the keyword pc enclosures.

Now my only competitor owns 4 sites, that are #1-#4! Optimised for the same keyword. The only thing I can see is that their domain is older than mine. I have more backlinks from relevant sites when I check with yahoo and backlinkwatch.

My site is SEO ok, according to w3optimizer.com/ competitors sites need attention...so why am I #5 in the SERPs (google.co.uk).

My hosting company had an issue in December when I fell from #3 spot to #5 I renewed the domain in November and it appears as though the hosting company forgot for 5 days, until I emailed them and it was sorted within an hour.

What can I do to get #1 spot?

Yes, but by doing what? More link building...I have 10 x more than my competitors and I can't understand why I am not #1!

The links have been built over 16 months...as I don't want to appear spammy to Google.

give it time.. you will be on top. however i believe domain age is one factor in this. Try to blog posts. and social book marking. If you already have more links then your competitor
