Why is my quality score so low?

    Hi,

A few weeks ago I setup a new adwords account.

For some reason, I get a really low quality score in one of my adgroups:

    ads

    Market Research Service
Quality Market Research at Low Cost
    72 Hour Delivery - Prices from $399
    www.DropResearch.com

    Market Research Service
We offer Market Research Service with
    72 Hour Delivery. Price: $399
    www.DropResearch.com

    Market Research Service
    Research of Players, Segments,
Trends & Media Coverage. Learn More
    www.DropResearch.com

    Landing page: Market Research Service

    Keywords in that adgroup:
    Market Research Service
    Market Research Services

    Avg CTR so far: 1.97%

    Quality score: 3/10 & 4/10, respectively

Do anyone have some advice on how to get that quality score up? I have no idea on what to do.

    Looking forward.

Check the keyword relevancy. The one showing a QS=3 probably does show as being irrelevant.

I know it sounds like your keywords should be relevant, but you got to remember that this is a computer program. I notice that while you have "market research" on your page, there is no "service/s" mentioned. Probably why you get an irrelevant score.

Don't use broad matches. Also think of other keywords you could be using. How about consultant and company?

QS is tied to CTR. I explain it in more details in my Adwords FAQ. Of course, you're taking a hit from being irrelevant. You may want to contact Google about that. But basically, increase your CTR with better ads and your QS will increase.

You could just ignore the QS if you are satisfied with your click rate, position, what you are paying and of course your conversion rate. You are just going to be paying more than you should.

I'd work on those ads. I wouldn't mention price at all. I see some good stuff on your site you should mention in the ads.
