Right so Im using adsense to try and make some money on my site. When I was deciding what keywords to target I used the adwords keyword tool and I ended up making my site around a keyword that according to the adwords keyword tool has an average CPC of $4.50 ish. I read somewhere that when using this tool you can expect to get roughly 1/4 of what the advertisers pay per click so that would be a little over $1 per click. Right now most of the clicks I am getting are only paying me between 3 cents and 15 cents. If it stays this low I will need way more traffic than i think i will be able to get to make a decent amount of money so im just wondering why it is so low and if there is anything I can do to get it higher.
depend on quality of traffic, if traffic from US,canada,uk,australia, ppc would be high, otherwise, it make sense that amount pay of per click, but on average is 10 cent per click
I guess you can get more money from your site But dont wait till somebodyclick on your ad... I found this program about a 3 weeks ago and seem to me,this is the future of online advertising... http://sn.im/newppp give it a try..Its free... Best regs Rudy
This pay per play is kinda interesting but roughly how much can you expect per pageload? seems its like anything else though you need good traffic to make $.
Yes my friend..You definetly need traffic for this. And looks like it have to be US/UK traffic.I am just testing it on my site right now,so i dont have so much ifo about the payments and so...But i know that advertisers are hudge..mcDonalds,Taco bells etc...I'll definetly let you know if i found out more,ok?Take care
I have checked the sites listed in your signature: wifiprintersinfo --- I think the ads is too high and look like MFA site. thewaystone ---- Ads layout is very good freedirectorydatabase ---- Ordinary Now try to get more traffic and it is better add more and more content on your websites. Usually sites with technology related stuff gains good money per click. So wish you a bright future.
lots of reasons, conversion rates, bounce rates, traffic quality etc. fix your site and it will do better
If you can really achieve good and quality traffic, you will be able to generate more money. You need to really check all the possible reasons- starting with your site and ending with the traffic quality
First off creating content just for the purpose of showing advertisments violates the terms and conditions so I would rephrase your post. Also you have to understand that just because it says average cpc doens't mean thats the amount they pay their publishers. Another thing to consider is that your site has more content then just your selected keywords perhaps google is picking up another keyword than the one you tried to aim for.
