Why is my page rank still 0 on 10

Just wondering why my Google PR is still at 0. I have had it up for 6 months, posting content and building links. Does it have anything to do with the ads I have posted on the sidebar?

    See http://www.sportsblend.com

    Thanks for your feedback

I would say that more than likely you hadn't built your site enough to get past PR0 at the time of the last PR update and as far as I know there hasn't been another one for quite some time. Also, you have a whole 10 backlinks to your entire domain. You would be LUCKY to get PR1 with that. I have about 3000 backlinks to a website I brought up 2 months ago and I'm just waiting on a PR update to see what that brings me up to.

No offense intended, but to me your site seems like ad central. You need some true content on here.

Its better to concentrate on improving traffic and search engine rankings instead of PR.

How are you looking at your pagerank? Through the google toolbar? The google toolbar is only a snapshot of pagerank at one point in time and that point is when google updates it. ( Every 3 Months ). To check you real pagerank I would recommend doing a Google search for "Future Pagerank Checker" if it's still zero then you know you're still in the sandbox.

Don't worry it just takes a while man. I think that's what most people need to hear. They think that their doing something wrong when it's been 6 months. Truth is it could take up to TWO YEARS. Anyways, hope I helped need anything else you can check out my website: 1-px

Sorry to say that but what you said is completely rubbish, there is no tool to check googole Future page rank .. there simply is none and who ever says other wise is either a lier or someone who try to promote his own website or someone who doesnt know anything about the matter.

you might find tools the guesstimate google future ranking but none of them are of any accuracy.

It does estimate. However, I've used it before and it's correctly predicted changes from 0-1. The only reason pages have a rank of 0 is because it's sandboxed or penalized. But I'm sure a smart guy like you already knew that.

    P.S. Try a spellchecker.

Get links from genuine high quality sites, ignore the linkfarms. Also google provides rank at a slower pace so keep patient if you are satisfied with your backlink. If ads are elevant to your theme then it is good if not then it is surely the reason for low PR.

Can anyone tell me why my site has a zero page rank with google, even though it’s popular, has a lot of backlinks, good traffic and a high Alexa rank?

It doesn’t make sense and is costing me a lot of money and traffic every month. I’ve spent 10 hours a day the last three years building up and promoting my website, and Google just screws it up by giving me a zero PR with no explanation and refuses to answer any emails!

I’ve gone to the Google Help Forum, written many times, submitted many site reconsideration requests in google webmaster tools, etc. Yet no response from Google! No one can explain why Google penalized me. I did not violate any of their guidelines.

    So what is the problem?

Frankly, it’s not right that Google owns the internet since it is virtually the only company in the world with no real contact info, no real customer service, and no way to discuss any problems with them. That’s just wrong.

What can I do? Google won’t answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My URL is http://www.HappierAbroad.com if anyone can help.

    Thanks,
    Winston

PR has nothing to do with how long your site is up. Even if you had a PR 5 after years of being up, that PR could drop to 3 or go up to 6. It is not a static number. Build a good site, good content, and good links. Besides, you don't need PR to rank anyways.
