    I just created a blog and what i noticed is that on my homepage www.ouchs.com is showing public ads, and when i type htttp://ouchs.com, it sometimes is showing normal ads? This is probably a stupid question, can anyone help me? :confused:

    it's probably because the site is still new, you need to wait for a few days for the robor to crawl your site and find relevant ads

    New sites can take a few hours before correct ads show up. Even old sites show public ads sometimes when they have no ads for keywords.

    Public service ads are shown when google does not have anything or know anything else to show.

    Some of the keywords in the header are not in the page. They are not relevant to your site content. Improving the match between the two may help and iit will sure help your SEO. Work on your sites SEO and the problem will clear.

    Also just a note if you have corrupted the adsense code it may show PSA's only but would not show ads, so this is not your case as you see ads sometimes.

    just give it some time if you have just placed the ads, let the bot crawl the site and it will start showing relevant ads

    also log into your adsense account and specify another ad network to display instead of public service ads.

    although i have put ads on my site for 3 months, i also met this problem some time several days ago.
    the homepage showed the public ads,while inner pages showing normal ads.
    that was absolutely strange.

    but it was ok the other day.

    The homepage is often the hardest page to target ads to. You may consider just dropping adsense from there. The homepage of most sites just draws repeat visitors who know why they are coming to your site - and will not likely click ads. I personally removed adsense from my homepage because the only thing it did was tell me how many visitors I got there. Hardly anybody clicked - compared to elsewhere on my site. The only reason to put adsense back up there would be if you had a significant amount of advertisers targeting ads to your site: epcm does work on a page like that, but ppc doesn't in many cases.

    try to use
    <!-- google_ad_section_start --> and <!-- google_ad_section_end --> that will solve your issue I think
