Why is my font always so bold?

    Why do all my fonts I use come across so bold? what modern fonts can I use that are standard and look nice and clean?

    I really want a professional font.

    But do people have those fonts on their OS as standard? I don't want my users to not see the font obviously?

    Sorry - didn't realise you meant browser fonts. I'm a bit slow today :)
    I use Verdana and Arial - at around 10 to 12px. Looks pretty clean to me.

    Well I was tring a few fonts and they all looked so similar, I tried that font you suggested and both of them work alot nicer, thanks!
