Why is my flash video file HUGE?

I am starting with a 14.5MB wmv file. Using Coffee Cup web video software, it ends up being over 100MB as a flash file? Something must be wrong here.

    Any ideas?

since it's a specific application that's doing this, I'd look into their documentation, forums, or contact them directly. probably the fastest way to get a direct answer.

For video files I think a program called Riva is free, not sure though.

If it is converting to a swf, it may be converting your video into frames which would balloon the size. Check into Sorensons Squeeze. Not free, but they may have a trial version.
