I recently started my first Wordpress blog and, needless to say, I have lots to learn. I didn't realize until yesterday that I needed to change the settings so the robots would be able to spider my site. I did that. I waited a day and then did a search to see if my site had been indexed yet. When I do a search as such: site:http://ovarian-cysts-treatments.com (which I understand should tell me whether my site is even indexed), something really strange comes up in the search results. It just has the site url and then three little icons under it, rather than having text with a description as it normally displays. Does this mean I've screwed up somewhere on my settings? Any help would be very appreciated.
It can take some time to get listed properly, but as long as you have the right keywords in your domain (which that part looks good) and you have the right keywords and description highlighted and everything, give it a week or two at least and if you are promoting it right, creating quality links and so on and so forth, it will appear with full description not only when using your URL to serch, but when using your dominating keywords. Patience is the key!
Might as well you make use of the time to build back links, while waiting for Google to crawl and index every webpage.
