I can't figure out why my blog is suddenly running so unstable. It is constantly reverting back to the default theme....and spewing error messages of "memory" and undefined actions. I have it down to running on 4 plugins, and that is it. I can't even touch it without it shutting down, and locking me out of the admin page..does anyone know what could be causing this?
Three things come to mind for me. 1) You maxed out your web space... which would cause any changes you try to make to be lost. 2) Your are trying to run an incompatible plugin or there is a problem with the theme you are running. Check compatibility with your version of WP. 3) One of the files got corrupted... such as functions.php. Try uploading fresh copies? I would think about the last changes you had made or something you have recently added to the site and look closer to that as the cause of your problems.
I forgot I started another post about this in my frustration. I got the same advice on that one, thanks. I did change themes recently, but it was running just fine, until I switched hosts this week. I have my host on the phone now...hope to get it fixed.
Ok... but... There's the root of the problem Most likely... your files got messed (corrupted) up in the transfer. I would upload fresh copies of the WP, Plugins, and theme files.
I did a fresh wordpress, theme, but not a fresh plug ins...I will try that, because I am down to 4 and they still come up with memory errors when I activate a 5th.
