Why is my alexa traffic rank so high

    Im not talking about the 3 month average just the 1 week average, after 8 months i decided to really get into SEO and recreated my site and have been activly link building the last week,

    My traffic has not changed significantly and ive only created around 150 backlinks, so why is my traffic rank gone from 3 million to 400,000!! and in the uk my target audience 200,000???

    I am not expert in alexa ranking ...but I think the rank increased because of your UV & may be many of them are using alexa toolbar

    That is not a high Alexa rank. If you are outside the top 10,000 sites, you will get enormous fluctuations in ranking.

    Regardless... don't pay so much attention to Alexa. It's pretty meaningless.

    Your alexa is good because your site is getting good traffic, where as i know.

    It isn't that special. One of my site made it to 420k from 2000k. And a high Alexa ranking doesn't mean much..

    True Alexa isn't that great. True stats are better but buyer tends to see Alexa still :)

    Well, I don't give priority for the alexa rank above 100k minimum.AS my site without visitor has 600k this week but only around 5-10 UV . LOL
