Why is MSN only PR5

Does anyone know why MSN has only a 5 google page rank. I would think they would be up at least a PR8. Is it because Bill Gates has 5 Billion dollars

Must be a temporary Datacenter thing. Its PR9 in my neck of the woods.

A more important question is why Google cant pass higher PR to its top level pages.. IE google groups is only a PR 1

So if Google cannot pass PR to itself properly... do you think they can figure out MSNs correctly?

I found it amusing Yahoo fell from 10 to 9 after it was pointed out that Yahoo had a 10.

Lastly PR is updated internally within Google...so what we see is not the reality.....Externally it was updated every 2 or 3 months prior to BD...after remains to be seen..

my toolbar shows pr 9 also. i checked across a bunch of datacenters and they all show pr 9. maybe some screw up with the toolbar.

And a ton more sites should also be pr10, even more so than Google
The fact they wont give them pr10's is stupid and childish. If anything, google should be the pr9.
