it's a funny place alright, the no blogs links hurts it alot imo .. and some members that where not newbies so all ago ... having ago at newbies for asking the same old questions .. that sucks a bit But why does Matt love the place... dude it's was his first webmaster home and they where kind to him
I joined WMW more than 4 years ago, but I have less posts there than here (in just an handful of months). I really liked WMW, but now I prefer DigitalPoint. Maybe because of member's privilege here and the atmosphere is more relaxed and casual.
WMW doesn't even let you post a link, let alone a signature!!! It's like they moderate every single post as you type it out. Once after they banned all robots, some one made a thread about activity droping, and of course they said it was better than ever. I posted an Alexa link that showed them crashing. With in 30 seconds...the post was deleted!!!
Well I commented in Matt's blog, hope he takes it on board as I think that post is the most stupid post he has done to date.
Yeah Dominic, but I hit the nail on the head with this one man! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=699702&postcount=25 Great to see you around old boy!
Yea, I already knew you were a few cards short of a full deck. Try starting by reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seo
Thanks Peter, now I don't have to go to Sitepoint where they don't show signatures to guests to learn SEO
Aren't we all Peter, since they are content thieves I don't create content for forums that don't show my signature to guests so they can exploit it for their own greedy gain! How about you Peter
I have nothing against you Peter as you know, just the corrupt founders of Sitepoint who take down signatures so they can sell webmasters advertising in their marketplace! I hate greedy and self centered people Peter!
Back on topic: WMW was one of the first 3 big ones. Pioneer status. So did JimWorld, but Mr. Wilson passed away ... Brett is alive
