Why is Marketing so Confusing?

Marketing is so confusing there is so many different aspects that you have to get right or it seems like it doesn't work.

 

Confusing? What is so confusing about giving your potential customers what they are looking for? If you don't know your customers, you will never give them what they want.

 

It's hard finding the right customers I have spent money on ads and tried targeting multiple areas. Nothing seems to work.

 

If you are spending money and not getting results, you either are targeting the WRONG customers OR you are not targeting the right customers with what they WANT. Either way it seems like you do not have a clue who your customers are and have no clue what they want.

 

I would not think its confusing but its hard .As things change its too competitive etc

 

It doesn't confusing, it's hard, because marketing improves every day, new techniques, tools, methods appear. It's hard to choose the right marketing strategy for your business. It requires good understanding of your goals, you must plan every step and every obstacle you can face. I can explain it shortly: you have to understand your customers behavior!

 

I agree. Marketing is confusing when we have not defined our core message. Marketing is confusing when we don't know who our audience is and what their needs are. Marketing is confusing when we are pushing other peoples stuff (as an affiliate marketer) and we are not sure if it will benefit anyone. Marketing is confusing because we don't know how to stand out from the crowd. That is why marketers are one of the most stressed out people out there. Always trying to come up with the next best thing.

But I think there is a better way to be successful. Market "yourself". Because its easier to define your personal message.... products will come and go, but you will always be you. Focus on "personal branding", it'll be easier to sell / market your products. Hope this helped.

It's very confusing, actually, the things which are next to understanding is always confusing.

But how you can actually do even if you have no money to spend on the ads.

These days it's so easy what you can do n every market there are forums, Facebook groups just go in those Facebook groups and let the people use your product for free so you can make it better, you can make some changes and you can also get testimonials which will help you to get 10 times more converisons.

And after you will get some of the free clients, you can get the feedback, you can improve your product

And there after you can start charging money for that because now you have testimonials your product is better.

And now you have received the money you can simply scale up with the ads.

A good friend of mine matt has scalled his software company without spending a dime on ads to 6 figures.

He was just cold calling peoples.
