Why Is Link Bucks so Taboo is the majority of "general" sites?

Like say if you upload something, a document containing a tutorial you made on helping someone fix a IT problem or something like that. Or just general uploads, like some photoshop brushes you have in your computer you want to share and others might not have.

So you choose your file-host, and run it through link bucks, then you post it. Most of the time will it not only be censored, but you'll get warned/ banned. Whether or not the rules deem it so.

My question is, do people feel like they are being cheating? Do they feel like they, by clicking on that link/ ctrl ving it into the address bar are "paying " to you somehow? Why do they feel that way when you're doing them a favour, you personally uploaded/ made?

Like whether its an entertainment forum, discussing "movie hunks" and "omfg jessica alba = teh win", or GFX forum or even a RELIGION forum. Like you upload eBook/ electronic Bibles, Qu'ran, Torahs etc. You post it and you either get cyber-slapped on the face, or the wrist.

I mean I personally understand and accept some of the reasons, but Im young and ignorant so I'd like to here some other's thoughts on this. why is it so "taboo".
