    Hi

Hope somebody familiar with adwords could advise.

I am running a campaign to test the impressions of some of the keywords using blogspot url. I am only targeting one country and I am not sure why is it that the ad is not showing up when I try to see my ad by typing in the relevant keyword.

By the way, quality scores of the keyword is ok. And there are not only 4 to 5 ads showing up.

    Thanks for your advice.

    Gary

Google Adwords has a URL policy that it will display one ad per search query for advertisers sharing the same top level domain like blogspot.com

    http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=14844

So it could be that there are more than 1 ad whose destination url is blogspot.com that's why your ad is not showing.

But my ad is the only one with blogspot.com. Don't think that's the reason.

    Anyhow, thanks.

First off - don't try and find your ad through normal search - use the ad preview tool. https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool
If your budget isn't big enough to have your ad shown continuously it will be shown sporadically throughout the day.
What you haven't said, is whether you are getting impressions reported , so your ad is being shown, it's just that you haven't seen it - in which case see my first two points.

Your keywords alone when you are searching for your own ad will not necessarily trigger that your ad shows.
have 3 campaigns running and had so far 36000 impressions this month, and when search from my computer and IP address, I only found one of my ads.
There might be another point when you come from your own IP address. Not sure, but I heard something like this mentioned before.

Regarding the IP address issue: I've seen plenty of my own ads while on same IP. I do know that the "search" results will change if you are logged into your Google account or not. And suspiciously my ads are at the top when I am logged in.

    Hope that helps!
