I am from Los Angeles, so the only Spanish I hear is the kind spoken in Mexico and here in Los Angeles of course. I just made a comment because it sounded off when I read it out loud p.s. By the way, do know there are rules here against posting in foreign languages? (they are not even allowed in sigs) It seems to have become your "thing" on this forum. Just figured I'd give you a heads up.
@dcristo I'm not into hijacking threads.Feel free to PM me anytime. In the meantime find someone else to relieve your aggression on.By the way I am well aware what "flame bait" is. @browntwn Thanks good point,I'll stick to English from now on.Would love to chat in my natural language of French though.
Ahh French, took that for 2 years as a boy and can barely count to 10. I feel like that NPR show where they make up definitions of words. I think it is Russian for good vocabulary.
digitalpoint, do not speak English, to be precise, I can read, but write on it. I meant the ability and willingness to work hard to become a good writer. browntwn do not quite understand your words. You can write a personal message?
@bulletinblips Where do you feel you are having problems,is it in the creative side or just in the writing side? @browntwn So you are from L.A.? I lived in North Hollywood near Toluca Square for over a year.Do you know the area? It's got a nice artsy vibe to it.
Reading the article one can only obtain information, but until you start to write articles myself, and most importantly they will be sold, Money is an indicator of the success of the writer.
I didn't understand your words either. I made a joke, just using a made up definition for the word "trudoblyubie" because I have no idea what it means and thought it would be funny. Yeah, I know it, I have some friends in that area.
browntwn; ""Trudoblyubie" " this is the love of work is the ability to do what LIKE a long time without being distracted, and sometimes even for food. diligence="trudoblyubie"
Mastering the English language should be your first priority. There are a lot of totally free English help sites on the web for you to check out. Just Google English tutorials. I hope that helps!
Two other simple yet effective tips are to always try for interesting opening lines and to write with a humanistic style. An opening line that is catchy will hook the reader and cause them to read further."Are you interested in making money?" Or "Can we talk, lean back in your chair and spend a few minutes to read what I have to tell you".I have used lines like this....they work! As far as a humanistic writing style, this has to do with getting the reader to identify with you as a person. You can throw things in the middle like,"Have you ever had one of those days when nothing went right?" Or "I think there are things that everyone can agree on,so let us see if we can agree on this?" When the reader can identify with the writer(you) then your writing then becomes powerful and effective.
I am over 20 years has lived in Russia, I think I hardly spoken English is to learn. No accommodation in an English speaking country it would be hard to do.
Reading books all the time helps I think. I've been a writer forever and I continue to learn because it's part of the field. I write for a living and without the help of books I'd go mad.
