I get about two clicks a week. I believe that the ads are relevant and I have them in the sidebar and at the bottom of all my posts but still I get about two clicks a week from around 800 uniques. Anyone got any ideas on how to up the number?

1 out of 400 isn't unusual for a ctr unfortuately. If you are giving people what they want, and they are happy, they may not want to leave.
1: You are serving text and image ads. I'd advise you to serve text only. Text almost always has a higher CTR.
2: You changed the display urls to black instead of green. This is usually for when you are blending your ads into your content. You might try changing display colors sometimes. If you have a loyal visitor base, they may become immune to the ads, and changing them up once in a while can give it a boost. The black may or may not be helping you.
3: Try to keep them above the fold a little more. (visible without scrolling) You have 10 posts. If people are reading them, most of your page doesn't have ads. If you can shorten it to say 3 and have google ads between them, then people can go to the next page, they have more opportunities to see and act on your advertisements. I think a link unit above the fold might work well for you.
4: You would be well advised to make use of chanels with your ads so you can know which ones are being clicked on. Change one thing at a time and record the effects in a log. Keep what works, and don't stop testing.

    Good luck to you.

Visitors from targeted traffic are more likely to click your ads and ctr can be improved by placing ads at suitable positions ; blending / contrasting your ads (depending on the niche) with the contents will help...

CTR depends on several things. 1 click out of 400 unique is low in my opinion. even for low CTR sites like proxy manage to get .5% to 1% CTR. what is you niche and what is your site. without looking at your site, no way to tell what kind of ad placement you have

If the current ads don't work, change places, change colors or block sizes and stick for a week or so. Trial and error for good high ctr spots on your site. It's hard chasing after ppc ads nowadays. I only make 1-2bucks per day if im lucky. :)
