Why is internet marketing so popular

It seems like the field of selling to internet marketers (for profit websites, etc.) are everywhere suggesting that this is a huge market. I was wondering if anybody could give me any insight into why. How can there be that much money in the internet marketing niche?

 

The thought of "making money online" just appeals to people. You can get a business set up quite easily online and be your own boss, basically. It's only when people actually start entering the field that they realize that it isn't as easy as they would think. I think it's a reasonably large market, but it takes time and energy just like any other field of business.

 

It's making money on the internet that gets most people started in the first place.

Howver, they think that getting into the "make money online" market is the best way to go. WRONG!

Creating niche blogs/sites/forums in a topic you know about is the right way to go about it.

 

It's not that internet marketing is popular cause any sort of marketing should be popular if you have a business you're trying to promote. It's just that internet marketing right now is a lot cheaper than marketing in traditional channels that the mom and pops are talking about it online.

Traditional marketing has the same following and chatters within its industry.

Internet marketing very popular because working online is one of the well-known business/industry. but making money on it isn't that easy. You have many and millions of competitors all over the world.

 

it's so cost effective and produces great results.
Also because it's new, people like new things and there are so many success stories

 

Just think, if you had a brick and mortar store, you would get X amount of customers a day from around the area. With an online store, you can sell to EVERYONE in the world, so the market is much larger.

There is tons of money going around online, and it's only the savvy marketers who can get their hands on some of it.

 

You are right - it is definitely not as easy as people think.

One of the key issues is people get distracted. Spend alot of time worrying about the "Information Overload" which is definitely out there.

Part of the advice I give anyone is to get started and to DO SOMETHING. Because you are far better off gettting started small, and learning from mistakes - than spending all your time trying to come up with the "Perfect Big Idea" - or over researching. And you never get to where the rubber hits the road so to speak...

 

Internet marketing is also appealing in a sense that you can work at home! It's got to be one of the most relaxing jobs, despite all that sitting and typing and getting tired eyes at the end of the day.

 

internet marketing is a good way to reach consumers who have turned off the tube..or dont even have tv and watch their fav shows online. we spend hours on the computer and most of our research is done now on the computer as well.

 

There are so many ways to make money from the comfort of your own home. You are only limited by your creativity. Ebay, Forums, your own website, etc. The sky is the limit.

 

you can get to everyone on the net. its a internet world now.

 

You can start with very little out-of-pocket expense (in fact, it could in theory, be started up for free)
potential earnings are pretty good...but it is a lot of work
can be done from home or the coffee shop or.....there are people doing it from the beach in Thailand

 

I do not know about the RELAXING part...I think I work much more that I "work form home/office" as a full-time internet marketer.

I love just the power, and sense of success I get from it!

theres a pretty simple explanation. The make money online field plays onm peoples frustration and desperation of their current situations. People are willing to try just about anything to get out of their dead end jobs and loads of debt,.
