I think to beat the Seo baby and im still trying to discover it is to traget keywords that people do search but that is not so high in competition. Cause you have a better change. Your site also play a role and target traffic here is my moto i learn.... Ranking ( Seo ) - Target traffic - Website that sells - Conversion - Live Support for help - Return in sales
If you hire professional SEO experts and have them conduct 100% full SEO on your site, then the SEM will occur naturally and you will not only rank higher but sale more.
xentech, why do you think that seo is very high cost? I think it is overrated, and basically just crap for the most part, but I am curious on why you think that.
Although seo is indeed part of marketing, it is down near the bottom of the barrel, and since they do that kind of revenue from advertising and word of mouth, and very little from seo, Matt, I don't need to ask them. ... They already know.
Just getting in on this thread, and seems like another heated debate (loving it) I definitely agree with Matt here, i have always considered SEO to be a part of Internet marketing. In my opinion SEO is a fundamental part of Internet marketing and probably the most beneficial in long term aspects. Lets think about it PPC - Costs money and with SEO you can get the same results if not better. SMM - Although the traffic is definitely higher at the start social media marketing mainly brings untargated traffic which is great at bringing visibility to your website and good for brand awareness however overall it won't build your subscriber base or sell products as good as SEO. Affiliate marketing - Well that takes in to account many other forms of marketing such as article marketing. Affiliate marketing can be a great strategy for selling products however for increasing subscriber base its not as effective as SEO. E-mail marketing - Time consuming need time to build a list up, if you don't build a list up then well your going to be spending a lot of time trawling to find email addresses if your doing it ethically. Any other form of paid advertising, obviously costs money. Overall SEO is in my opinion the best "long term" strategy you can use for building traffic and growing your website. However why not use all of these internet marketing strategies, dont put your eggs in one basket. Just my thoughts.
Well: To do better with Adwords... your site needs to be properly optimized for the search engines. So in a way, he's right about what he says. I use Adwords as a tool to quickly see what keywords are the winners (where are the buyers)
Ok newb, SEO IS IM. I made sales every day this week from FREE SEO OPTIMIZATION. Still think your good? Sorry if i'm being rude. Your OP title threw me for a loop.
Wow... didn't even read that post from him yet. That seems kinda... akward. He obviously doesn't know how to do proper SEO for sure. Because I get a TON of sales because from the search engines... every single day. And none of the people I know, who are into serious SEO, fail to make money with solid SEO tactics.
Really? That's news to me. I think you have the wrong end of the stick somewhere along the line. To do better with adwords you need to maximise your pay per click and ad CTR, neither of which are related to natural SEO.
