Why is google showing the wrong URL?

Hello,

I'm having what I think is a bit of a problem with google search results. When I do a search for site:mysite In the result I see my site as mysite >> WEBSITE TITLE >> page title.

Can someone tell why it's showing website title where a folder name suppose to show? The result can help me fix the problem if I am having one.

Also how long does google take to remove pages that do not exist?

 

It is quite unfamiliar as Google generally gives accurate results. Can you share the screenshot?

I have a big mess at google with 404 pages the title showing in the URL but when I check search console everything seems to be fine.

In the picture you can see what I mean the url is showing at mywebsite >> WEBSITE TITLE >> page title

Yes, I do have the same problem too,and I have sent feedback on search engine, but it didn't help

 

You can submit your XML sitemap in search console and wait for google re-index your site.
It always take some time to index and crawl websites when you re-work on your website.

I stopped developing that site to start a new and better project.

 

Then you could sell the site and who knows other may have interest to buy it.

 

I am selling the domain and I still have the script license. I took it apart because I needed the hosting the website was being hosted.
