    Guys,

I have just noticed that Google products are dominating the vast majority of hugh paying shopping terms.... E.g. type in 'widescreen tv' or anything else you care to think of.....Google products is near the top comparing prices.

This is a major spanner in the works for some of my sites.

Anyone else in the same boat or have any suggestions on this point.

Google has totally fu%^ed me over here.

I have some well structured comparison websites with just as low prices, but am scared people will opt for Google products over my sites....Thoughts?

Google probably adjusted their algorithm to have their products appear at the
    top in the serps.

They know their algorithm unlike us. We guess it, they know it. It may be bad for them with adsense. I think they're crossing the line with this one.

They need to remember where they make all their money. Practicing things like this could be their downfall - greed

Huge income they generate. They are completely different in any sort of approaches and name it - "googlism" and generate more and more revenue.

You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about, for a start Google.com has a PR10.

Secondly these are not part of SERP's or rankings, they have been manually put at the top of the SERP's like Adsense as a "Feature" above the 10 regular results.

It's all about the money. Google promotes those Google Shopping (products) stores above others because those sites accept Google Checkout. Cha Ching

Google is really messing with my nerves: they are doing lot's of unusual stuff last weeks. NOT a SE anymore, just a company monopolizing everything.

I think that most of these merchant sites are not SEO friendly enough to be index high in the search volumes. There is niche sites that is optimized to Google webmaster standards and they out rank the product searches because they have a lot of unique content on them, I don’t think it is wise to use merchant sites that is used by thousands rather pay a programmer to create your own platform.
