Google has announced to exit China Mainland after weeks of suspense. But i am still confused why it leaves this expending market
I hear Americans and Chinese aren't cool with each other. I think google's decisions will only help Chinese search engines and webmasters. Chinese users will now use their owns Chinese websites.
I am chinese guy. In China,there is many people love Google .But the government is so stupid, government don't like Google.I feel very sad about this.
Its because google suspect that the chinese goverment hacked gmail users accounts or something like that
The only reason Google is leaving China is its high time they have been dragging up their losses for the investment they did for google.cn They cannot agree to the fact that, they have been out sourced by the local chinese search engine baidu. And now giving some other reasons of hacking to divert the main subject of google's losses........
I think it is not just the problem of our Government. A big issue is always decided by many reasons. Here must be something crucial that affects Google to change its location. Any how, Hongkong is part of China too. So Google is still in CHina. Don't you think so?

Because of problems with the government. The Chinese government wants google to censor search results and Google does not like that idea. Also there have been cyber attacks and gmail accounts have been hacked into
They must have been told that there will be a software in all the computers of Google office in China for security reasons. LOL!!!!!!!!!! That software itself must be a hacking device
What you're talking about? of course it is commercial and political war. China has its own SE which is (if i remember correct) used by more than 50% china internet users, and they want to protect it from google, but there is something else: As I heard, China does censor all the SE inquires, so it is easy for them to censor local company, but it is hard to do with offshore. Google does not want to censor searches of chinese users anymore (but it has been doing that till now). Another thing I heard is that when google came to China, they signed an agreement that will censor all searches according to China government and then, it seams that they are breaking it, therefore it may be only question of time till google is out of China for good (of till next election )
