Hopefully this is short and sweet, I'm really lost and need a little help. The basic situation is acelayouts.com/myspacelayouts lists 10 of the newest layouts that have been added to the site. When the layout is listed there for example "pussycat dolls myspace layout" acelayouts.com/myspacelayouts ranks for that keyword (pussycat dolls myspace layout), then a couple pages later you see acelayouts.com/myspace/layouts/Pussycat-Dolls ranking. Now as soon as I add a new set of layouts and the hyperlink to that URL dissappears from acelayouts.com/myspacelayouts the ..../layouts/Pussycat-Dolls link completely stops ranking and dissappears. What can I do to get these layouts to rank. Any tips? Any ideas?
I would assume that you link from acelayouts.com/myspacelayouts to the acelayouts.com/myspace/layouts/Pussycat-Dolls. Thus, when the link is taken out, the relation of those two is broken, and so does the ranking. What you need to do is to build more backlinks to acelayouts.com/myspace/layouts/Pussycat-Dolls. No other ways. Or to keep things a little bit longer. You could put "last week popular layout" section on that same page.
Well the thing is I have a lot of different pages like that, the pussy cat dolls page is just an example. I need the other pages to rank as well so how can get this to work? Get links to 600+ pages? Each layout is a page. What other way can I do this?
Get backlink you page you want to rank. If you want to rank you 600+ pages for different keywords then yes you have to do that. for better result do off page SEO.
I just noticed that it actually didn't get pushed off the page, but moved down on the site. It seems like the page ranks for a couple days, then falls, any ideas for that?
