Just a little thing i noticed - when i was about to search. Surely they have control over just setting it to PR 10/10. Google.com is PR 10, so why not .co.uk, obviously google.com is more popular but ya know... Anyone know why?
Yeah, its been like that for ages, im guessing because most people dont know what pr is, they just left it
Well, as only people from the UK visit, its not as highly ranked. It makes perfect sense when you think about it. ED: Looks like everyone said the same thing before I posted...
Yes fair enough on all the comments: I was orginally going to say this: "But (although we don't eactly know that the PR is set just on this) wouldn't you have thought with all the links to 'google.co.uk' - it would be a PR 10." - But then did 'link:http://www.google.co.uk' and i know it sounds stupid saying this but - it only had 13,500 backlinks . Compared to a site with the same PR, - wikipedia, and this had a wopping - 1,120,000 backlinks!! Whilst google.com had - 1,910,000 . So i would expect that it why - didn't really think there would be such a gap between google.co.uk and google.com!! So there you go...
simillary http://www.google.co.in/ have PR8 , because lesser number of pages are linked to http://www.google.co.in compared to that of google.com
