Why is google adsense calling indian publisher on their mobile phone ?

    Hi Adsense publisher from india,
    It seems google adsense is going the paypal way , they are calling adsense publisher in their mobile phone and asking for identity proof , pan card ,etc :mad:
    Can someone confirm that it is indeed from google adsense and not some fraud trying to steal personal information ?
