    China's blocking policy is ridiculous. I would suggest you get a U.S. based VPN or Proxy.

    Apparently, iTunes was also temporarily blocked.

    Everything is very strict in China. First Youtube, Itunes was indeed blocked temporarily, most likely cause of the ongoing Olympics. They are strict with the internet even without the Olympics.

    because lot of person is using fake site for beijing!
    my friend has bought 5 tickets on a fake beijing site :S

    so they are blocking us for our safety

    That just doesn't make much sense. How is GoDaddy even related to the Olympics? DO they actually believe that blocking GoDaddy will stop the Olympics slanderers?

    During Olympics, they would not allow you to do other things, instead people should be watching the Olympics show.

    Lord Hales - you thought China was a democracy? They're totally communist. They block things all the time to prevent their people from finding out about various world news and information.

    Who really cares??

    The chinese are communist, all they care about is the total control of their people. Have you read up on chinas human rights record lately?

    There was one lady, when she was 14 she marched in a protest. She was arrested and kept in prison for about 20 years. When she was released, she was told she had to leave china - so the USA took her in.

    Forced abortions for women with more then one child. Now really, do you want to deal with a government that arrest women and force them to have an abortion?

    The slaughter of the Tibetan people. Stories are all over the internet about people bing shot trying to get in or out of tibet.

    And then there was tiananmen square. The government only killed 2,000–3,000 people for protesting.

    Oh yea, sounds like the type of people we really want to deal with.

    In other words - if china has you blocked its no big deal. They have 1/2 the world blocked.
