Why is Chitika better than Adsense?

For me Chitika works well!

 

Btw when i use chitika i get loads of impressisions and only a few clicks. And the times i do get quite a lot of people click i hardly get paid anything... Anyone else experience this?

 

Keep in mind that even though you may tweak your eMiniMalls to reflect your site content, that doesn't mean your ads will pay well.
Tried to capitalize on Halloween on one of my sites- plenty of clicks, abysmal earnings.
Back to "thong and lingerie" ads.....LOL

 

But, adsense is a easy banner, so for those people they invented others...
And, yea, i got manny impressions but not a lot clicks.. it could be because of the 7 blocks i got on a page.

 

I also found chitika performed poorly compared to adsense, I stopped using it after a couple of months

 

i would love to try it...chitika ads look so cool!

 

Perhaps we should have a poll or something. There's a MILLION pages on chikita on this forum itself. lol

 

chitika pays more than adsense but accept only Us and some others countries click so click ratio is smaller than adsense.

 

Depends on the site/industry I think so it is hard to compare.

 

Wait so does chitika not pay you well if you have ads on pages aimed at visitors from the uk?

 

I used chitika... but removed them from my site when they started giving me from 200$/day to just 20$/day. I used them on a mobile phone review site. Nice CTR.. great money ... until started to say that 80% of the clicks are fraud clicks. WHAT??? 4 from 5 clicks are fraud??? And if was fraud why didnt closed my account? So I will never use them anylonger.

 

Did they actually email you and say 4 out of 5 clicks were fraudulent? Or are you talking about the monthly audit? The monthly audit takes out "invalid" clicks which are not necessarily "fraudulent" clicks. (If there were a number of fraudulent clicks then they likely would have closed your account.)

"Invalid" clicks account for many more things than just "fraudulent" clicks. There are tons of automated scripts that crawl sites either to scrape the content, index the content, download the content for offline reading, etc which are most of what makes up invalid clicks.

Surely you can earn much more than other publisher site if your site is related to shopping resources.

On my opinion, is depend to what kind of site you are running. For those electronic product site, especially those selling site, Chitika might be better then Adsense. If your site is taking about game, then better go for adsense

 

I for one believe that AdSense is a great program - it helps a lot of publishers make money with their web sites. Typically when I speak with publishers who use AdSense my recommendation is to use us both. If AdSense is helping you to make (good) money, why stop?

I get ~$20/day from Adsense on one of my sites. I tried chitika for 15 days, the result was $8 / 15 days. I will never try it again.
