In the last months BING shows, using some research words, my website with https instead of HTTP. I have never used https or linked with it. The funny thing is that it gives this problem only with some search words and not with others. The website is http://www.totalprint.info/ Link example that gives the right website: www.totalprint.info http://www.bing.com/search?q=etichette+adesive+ribbon+termico&qs=HS&sk=HS1&pq=etichette+&sc=8-10&sp=2&cvid=e2dfea1d651b40e88614b04ce366cf72&FORM=QBLH Link example that gives the wrong website with https protocol http://www.bing.com/search?q=ribbon+termico+online&qs=HS&sk=HS1&pq=ribbon+termico&sc=5-14&sp=2&cvid=075c8945d3e345d38b8dc557152d84b2&FORM=QBRE As known, the https prevents the site from loading properly and displays a nasty "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate" sign. I've contacted BING Support and they confirmed the problem. They asked me to try using the "Site Move Tools" in the Webmaster Tools. I tried but the problem remains. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
When it comes to indexing search engines like Google and Bing are not giving weight to these kind of URLs.
Thanks for your answers. The problem could have been caused by a wrong external link in which I typed https instead of http. I fixed it some time ago and after some 20 days the problem with Bing seems to have been fixed. At least I hope so.
