WHY is Adobe Air slow?

This is most obvious in Market Samurai.

Lots of people are saying this too, despite having "super computers".

Anyone from a programming background would like to chime in?

Know of any tweaks or optimizations? :)

Market Samurai is fast. You do realize that it does thousands of searches across many platforms in order to deliver results in only a matter of moments. It also uses most of your available bandwidth when it does this.

Honestly, I have not experienced a slow Adobe Air application. But I have experienced Adobe Air applications acting slowly when they are trying to use a slow internet connection.

    My connection is 4Mpbs. I don't think that's slow at all. :)
