I think all this "my country/religion/whatever is the best" stuff is kinda sad. This is gang mentality at its finest, seeping down from organized religion and government to the 'man on the street'. We all live on the same planet, the borders are (mostly) invisible.

Modern day Iran is simply one of the most oppressive and offensive regimes around. I pity the poor Iranians who are stuck with that government. It does have a rich and full history, too bad they disrespect that with their current day government and absurd positions, particularly with regard to Israel and the Holocaust.
